Print from Harper's Weekly, November 2, 1872. Incluldes four small cartoons. "Our Foreign Ruler(?). F.K. 'I will do your bidding, as you are unfallible'" shows shows a man kneeling before the Pope. A Catholic priest in the background holds a paper that reads, "Down with the U.S. public school, vote as Catholic." The second cartoon has no title and shows two men, one (H. Clay) quoting "I would rather be right than be President"; the other (a caricature of an Irish man) quoting "I would be anything to be president". The third cartoon, "The German Vote", shows a caricature of a Geman man and a poster reading "The Germans will vote as they please. They have no dictator". The fourth cartoon, "The Same Old Smell", shows Uncle Sam holding his nose and holding a large cracked egg with "Tammany" coming out of the shell.

'Of all the Nations on the Earth, England has been the most Guilty in regard to Slavery, and it was most fitting that the Reparation to the now Liberated Slaves should proceed from England.' The Heathen American. 'No, thank you.
