At the top of the engraving is a triptych showing the Crucifixion flanked by the Nativity and the Ascension. Below is a portrait image of Pius IX flanked by Jesus, Mary, Martin Spalding and John McCloskey. Below that are portraits of the heirarchy of the United States at the time the engraving was made, but also including John Hughes. This is very similar to 2010.047.061 but with some differences. Many of the portraits are slightly different. John Hughes is the only former member of the heirarchy included. Boniface Wimmer is also included, though he was an abbot and not a bishop. There is no information as to creator, publisher or date.

Hand-painted piece with a proclamation in the center addressed to Archbishop Ryan. A portrait of Ryan appears at the top and the text is surrounded by hand-painted pictures of scenes from Ireland, most pertaining to the area around Thurles. There are two pieces: The bottom piece has the proclamation and pictures. The top piece is a mat and cover with shapes cut out to frame the proclamation and the pictures.
