Below is a portrait image of Pius IX flanked by Jesus, Mary, Martin Spalding and John McCloskey. Below that are portraits of the heirarchy of the United States at the time the engraving was made, but also including John Hughes. This is very similar to 2010.047.061 but with some differences.
