Ordained priest, Saturday, June 6, 1846, in Pentecost Week, by the Right Reverend Mathias Loras, D.D., first Bishop of Dubuque, Iowa, in St. John's Church, S. 13th St., Philadelphia. Died, Wednesday, January 31, 1883, Rector of St. Bridget's Church, Philadelphia. Buried in the Priests' Vault, St. John's Cemetary, Manayunk, Philadelphia. Father O'Connor was the second permanent resident rector of St. James' Church, West Philadelphia, 1854-1862." Title taken from verso. Photographer unknown.
